How to Connect Your Gmail Account

During setup, you can connect your Gmail account to protect your inbox from phishing scams. Here's how.

During Initial Setup

When you reach the Email Protection step in the Gini walkthrough:

1. Tap Gmail from the list of email providers
2. You'll see Google's sign-in screen
3. Enter your Gmail email address
4. Tap Next
5. Enter your password
6. Tap Next
7. Review the permissions and tap Allow
8. You're connected!

Skipped It? No Problem

If you skipped email setup, you can connect Gmail anytime:

1. Open Gini Help
2. Tap Settings at the bottom
3. Tap Email Protection
4. Tap Gmail
5. Follow the Google sign-in steps above

What You'll See

Once connected:

• A green checkmark appears next to Email Protection
• Gini immediately starts scanning your inbox
• You'll see alerts if phishing emails are found
