When Gini screens a call for you, here's exactly what happens - from the caller's perspective and yours.
The Caller's Experience
When someone calls you and reaches Gini's screening:
Step 1: Greeting
The caller hears Gini's AI assistant:
"Hi, you've reached [Your Name]'s call screening service. May I ask who's calling and the reason for your call?"
Step 2: Conversation
The caller can respond naturally. Gini's AI will:
- Ask follow-up questions if needed
- Listen to their reason for calling
- Gather information to summarize for you
Step 3: Closing
After getting the information, Gini tells the caller:
"Thank you. I'll let them know you called. Have a great day."
The call ends and you receive a notification.
Your Experience
You Get a Notification
Within seconds of the call ending, you receive a push notification with:
- Caller's number - The phone number that called
- Caller's name - If they provided one
- Reason for calling - Summary of what they said
- Risk level - Safe, Suspicious, or Likely Scam

Legitimate Call:

If the call looks legitimate, tap to call the number back.
Listen to Recording
Tap to hear the actual screening conversation. Useful when you want more context.
Add to Allow List

Block the Number
If it's spam or a scam, block them permanently.
Ignore
If you're not interested, simply ignore the notification.

If You Answer
If you answer the call, Gini isn't involved at all - it's just you and the caller.
