How to Invite Family Members

If you have a Family Plan, you can invite up to 4 additional people to share your protection. Here's how.

Before You Start

Make sure you:

  • Have an active Family Plan subscription
  • Know the email addresses of people you want to invite
  • Have available slots (Family Plan supports up to 5 people total)

How to Send Invitations

  1. Open Gini Help
  2. Tap Settings at the bottom
  3. Tap Plan and Billing
  4. Tap Family Plan or Manage Family Members
  5. Tap Invite Member or the + icon
  6. Enter the person's email address
  7. Tap Send Invite

The person will receive an email with a link to join your family plan.

What the Invited Person Does

When someone receives your invitation:

  1. They tap the link in the email
  2. If they have Gini, they sign in to their existing account
  3. If they're new, they create a Gini account
  4. They're automatically added to your Family Plan
  5. They can start setting up their protection

Checking Invitation Status

To see pending invitations:

  1. Go to Settings > Plan and Billing > Family Plan
  2. Look for Pending Invitations
  3. You'll see who hasn't accepted yet

Resending an Invitation

If someone didn't receive the email or it expired:

  1. Go to Settings > Plan and Billing > Family Plan
  2. Find the pending invitation
  3. Tap Resend

Canceling an Invitation

If you sent an invitation by mistake:

  1. Go to Settings > Plan and Billing > Family Plan
  2. Find the pending invitation
  3. Tap Cancel Invitation

Tips for Inviting Family Members

  • Use their primary email - Make sure it's an email they check regularly
  • Tell them to expect it - Let them know you're sending an invite so they watch for it
  • Check spam folders - If they don't see it, suggest checking spam/junk
  • Help them set up - They'll need to configure call forwarding, email protection, etc.

After They Join

Once someone accepts your invitation:

  • Their name appears in your Family Plan members list
  • They have full access to all Gini features
  • They set up their own protection (you can help them!)
  • Their data is private - you can't see their screened calls or messages
