AI Call Screening for AT&T Prepaid — Spam Protection | Gini Help

AT&T Prepaid is a prepaid brand on the AT&T network and uses the same call-forwarding codes as postpaid AT&T. Forwarding is a network feature, so it works on prepaid plans without adding anything to your account.

To turn screening on, dial *21*14149854464# from your AT&T Prepaid phone and press call. The screen shows a confirmation dialog once forwarding is registered.

To turn it off at any time, dial ##002#. Your AT&T Prepaid service is unchanged either way — forwarding only redirects calls you do not answer to Gini's screening line at +1 (866) 446-GINI.

If you would rather only forward some calls: *67*14149854464# forwards when you are on another call, *61*14149854464# when you do not pick up, and *62*14149854464# when your phone is off or out of service.

Once forwarding is on, Gini answers unknown callers before your AT&T Prepaid phone rings, asks who is calling and why, and only puts real people through. Anyone already saved in your contacts rings straight through as normal.

Common questions

What is the call forwarding code for AT&T Prepaid?

*21*14149854464# turns forwarding on and ##002# turns it off. AT&T Prepaid uses AT&T's GSM codes because it runs on the AT&T network.

Does call forwarding cost extra on AT&T Prepaid?

Forwarding to a domestic number is included on AT&T Prepaid plans. Gini's screening line is a US number, so there is no per-minute or long-distance charge from AT&T Prepaid.

Will I still get calls from people I know on AT&T Prepaid?

Yes. Contacts saved in your phone ring through as normal. Only unknown numbers are screened first.
