AI Call Screening for AT&T — Spam Protection | Gini Help
AT&T supports conditional call forwarding on every current plan, which is all Gini Help needs. There is nothing to add to your account and no charge from AT&T for forwarding to a domestic number.
To turn screening on, dial *21*14149854464# from your AT&T phone and press call. The screen shows a confirmation dialog once forwarding is registered.
To turn it off at any time, dial ##002#. Your AT&T service is unchanged either way — forwarding only redirects calls you do not answer to Gini's screening line at +1 (866) 446-GINI.
If you would rather only forward some calls: *67*14149854464# forwards when you are on another call, *61*14149854464# when you do not pick up, and *62*14149854464# when your phone is off or out of service.
Once forwarding is on, Gini answers unknown callers before your AT&T phone rings, asks who is calling and why, and only puts real people through. Anyone already saved in your contacts rings straight through as normal.
Common questions
What is the call forwarding code for AT&T?
*21*14149854464# turns forwarding on and ##002# turns it off. AT&T uses AT&T's GSM codes because it runs on the AT&T network.
Does call forwarding cost extra on AT&T?
Forwarding to a domestic number is included on AT&T plans. Gini's screening line is a US number, so there is no per-minute or long-distance charge from AT&T.
Will I still get calls from people I know on AT&T?
Yes. Contacts saved in your phone ring through as normal. Only unknown numbers are screened first.
