Straight Talk (AT&T) Call Forwarding Codes & AI Scam Screening | Gini Help

Straight Talk (AT&T) is an MVNO — it does not run its own towers, it resells the AT&T network. That matters for call forwarding: you use AT&T's codes, not a Straight Talk (AT&T)-specific one, and Straight Talk (AT&T) support often will not know them.

To turn screening on, dial *21*14149854464# from your Straight Talk (AT&T) phone and press call. The screen shows a confirmation dialog once forwarding is registered.

To turn it off at any time, dial ##002#. Your Straight Talk (AT&T) service is unchanged either way — forwarding only redirects calls you do not answer to Gini's screening line at +1 (866) 446-GINI.

If you would rather only forward some calls: *67*14149854464# forwards when you are on another call, *61*14149854464# when you do not pick up, and *62*14149854464# when your phone is off or out of service.

Once forwarding is on, Gini answers unknown callers before your Straight Talk (AT&T) phone rings, asks who is calling and why, and only puts real people through. Anyone already saved in your contacts rings straight through as normal.

Common questions

What is the call forwarding code for Straight Talk (AT&T)?

*21*14149854464# turns forwarding on and ##002# turns it off. Straight Talk (AT&T) uses AT&T's GSM codes because it runs on the AT&T network.

Does call forwarding cost extra on Straight Talk (AT&T)?

Forwarding to a domestic number is included on Straight Talk (AT&T) plans. Gini's screening line is a US number, so there is no per-minute or long-distance charge from Straight Talk (AT&T).

Will I still get calls from people I know on Straight Talk (AT&T)?

Yes. Contacts saved in your phone ring through as normal. Only unknown numbers are screened first.
